Statefarm Insurance Scam
Saturday, February 23rd, 2008Statefarm Claims
Are insurance companies scamming you??? Do you have a insurance claim with an insurance company, and now you are getting the run around, or being scammed out of your rightful payment? Are you tired of being taken advantage of by insurance companies?
I personally chose to talk about a State farm insurance claim, because I am presently battling with them to do the right thing. If you are in the same situation share your experience here. I plan to create a blog on Insurance Scams and poor treatment of innocent people that have been hurt by Insurance company insures.
My State farm Insurance Experience
On October 1st I was sitting at a stop light minding my own business, when a State farm policy holder had an accident with another person and in the process hit the door of my car, right where I was sitting. My doctor diagnosed me with whiplash and told me that my injuries would take 8 to 12 weeks to heal. I was out of work for 8 weeks and even after my doctor gave me permission to return to work I was unable to do the heavy lifting that my work required. I had about $1,000 in medical expenses and $1,900 worth of damages to my car.
My State Farm Insurance Agent
My State Farm Insurance agent had the nerve to call me only two days ago, and ask me if I would accept $1,000 to settle the insurance case. The truth is he sounded so ashamed of what he was doing, and I know that he was only doing his job, as required by State Farm to try and not live up to there responsibilities. But, I was rather upset and reminded him, that because of his insurance policy holder, I was now working at a job where I was getting $1.00 per hour less then I was getting before I had to quit my job because of the accident. I told him politely that….okay, not politely..I told him that $1,000 was unacceptable and then I hung up on him.
So, I want to share more information with you on what I believe is a widespread case of Insurance companies taking advantage of people. Please check back here so I can link you to my new blog that will be based on the topic of Insurance, Insurance agents, Insurance Scam and any other subject related to how insurance companies conduct there business.
