Planning a website is the most important process in building a successful website.  Even though planning a website is an ongoing effort, the beginning stages need to be planned out appropiately for the other phases to fall into place.  A successful website should do more then look good, it should be adequately optimized and provide the necessary function needed for your visitors.

Steps to a successful Website

Planning the website:  Planning the website involves taking a close look at the elements necessary for this website.  There are many questions that you should ask yourself when planning your website.

  1. What type function do I need in my website?
  2. What are the goals for my website?
  3. Who are my targeted audience?
  4. How can I create a site to provide value ot my visitors?
  5. What is my budget and timeline?
  6. How often will I need to update my website?
  7. Do I need to design my website for visitor interaction, imput or feedback?

Setting up the basic structure of your website:  Your structure should be set up exactly as if you were creating a hierarchy.  You can use a pencil to draw a square designating your home page, and then draw how other pages link from your homepage, to each other.

Creating the pages to your website:  In creating your webpages, you will draw from several resources to include, text writing software programs, to uploading text files, banners, buttons and video from other sources.

Earning money with Google Adsense is one of the best ways for newbies to get started earning a profit online without incurring high business expenses.  Today, more and more people are looking for ways to earn extra income, due to the poor economy, and without having to exhaust their savings to do so.

Google Adsense is a profitable and easy way to get started earning money online.  Google adsense are basically ads/advertisements placed on your website, which allow you to earn a percentage of the ad cost for each advertisement that your visitors click on.

Example:  A Business purchases advertising via google.  They agree to pay a certain amount for each impression or click.  Google places this advertisement on your website with your permission.  When your visitors, visit your website and click on the Google Adsense Advertisement, you are paid a percentage of the cost the business incurred for that particular advertisement.

Earnings can be significant based on the advertising cost, and the amount of traffic you have to your website.
