How can GOD use me?

GOD

God uses us all in many different ways, and it is important to understand that whatever use GOD has for you, it is important. Often times, we find ourselves obsessed with the fact that someone else seems to be contributing what we call more to GOD’s kingdom and we become depress or stressed that our use is not important.

It is important to understand that what seems like a small thing in your opinion….when touched by someone in need of that small thing, the value of that use becomes very powerful. We all have a very important use in the kingdom of GOD, and this fact should never be questioned.

Recently, I read an article about a mother and author named Rene’ Banglesdorf that has recently published a book called “Battelground” and she is donating 100% of all profits to Christian based non-profit organizations that impact young adults. This book was written to help young adults in there spiritual battle, and she is hoping to get the message to as many teens as possible.

How can GOD use you?

New Jersey apologize for Slavery

New Jersey State regrets slavery

According the reports from the Associated press, the State of New Jersey recently signed a resolution stating there regrets for there hand in slavery. According to reports, New Jersey is one of the first states to openly apologize for being apart of slavery.

The assembly and legislature voted something like 29 to 2 to approve the resolution stating there regrets for slavery.

Are you wondering what the 2 that did not vote for this resolution was thinking. Well, the vote was to establish the resolution without requiring any other action by the government, so it is possible that the two that did not vote for the resolution wanted action to be taken by the government. Maybe, that is wishful thinking, but I’d like to think that those to that voted against the resolution had a bigger purpose in mind other then not wanting to apologize for such a awful time in history, as slavery.

say you wanna Lynch Tiger Woods

All about Lynching Tiger Woods

Recently, the associated press released an article on news anchor Kelly Tilghman who supposely suggested that Tiger Woods be lynched. According to various reports her statement was not as bad as it sounded, and she was only playing around when it was said. Kelly Tilghman’s attempt to express that it would be easier for young opponents to lynch Tiger Woods, then to beat him at Golf.

Well, I suppose her statement on the concept of lynching Tiger Woods was not taken to well by her employers, because she was suspended for two weeks due to the negative comments she made regarding Tiger Woods.

It was also stated that she and Tiger Woods are friends, and that she has apologized for making the racist statement. My suggestion to Kelly, is to take just a minute before you make an off the wall statement that may be hurtful to people.

You are the cause for Black Violence

A look at “Vanishing Georgia Blog”

I recently read an article at Vanishing Georgia’s Blog   that shared a story about a group of African American’s (negroes) that severely beat and injured another African American (negro) …..as the blog states.

Any intelligent individual knows that it is wrong to hurt another human being, but it is just as wrong to parade negative, harmful attitudes and words that are meant to hurt other people.

With every action, there is a reaction, which is apart of human behavior.

When you call a group of black perpetrators a pack of negroes, you are in essence expressing an action that will inevitably cause a reaction.

If you multiply that action by many years of negative, harmful attitudes, you will continue to see episodes of repeated patterns and it will continue.

Changing your tone, your expressions, and how you treat other people is a start in helping to reduce the hundreds of years of pent up anger many African Americans have endured.

Prejudice in the Emergency Room

Monday, January 7th, 2008

Are Whites given better medical attention in the ER then Blacks?

Recently, the Journal of American Medical Association conducted a study regarding the attention given to blacks vs whites in the emergency rooms across the nation and the results were astounding. According the JAMA, the study showed that after a careful study of over 150,000 Emergency Rooms in 13 years, that United States doctors were more likely to prescribe higher and stronger dosage of medication to white patients then black patients, with the same disorder.

This study released on Wednesday, January 2, 2008 came from a top U.S. government survey that collects data and is funded by the United States Government.

It is hoped that this newly released study will help to eliminate racial differences and treatments within our emergency rooms, and set standards according to prescribed protocols.
