Jackson State University Student Missing
This is a picture of Latasha Norman. I received this picture a few weeks ago, asking me to pass this picture to my friends and associates. I have also been asked by my blog visitors if Latasha is related to me. As far a I am aware, Latasha is not related to me, however I did receive a copy of the email floating around regarding her disappearance.
Today, while searching the internet I found a BET news article, on Latasha’s disappearance and decided to share some very interesting information regarding the article.
If I am understanding the article correctly it seems to say that the Chief of police Malcolm McMillin, told ABC News, that he felt that race was a reason that this story did not gain national attention. Please tell me if I am reading this correctly, anyone.
Latasha Norman, is a 20 year old student studying at Jackson State University in Mississippi, and was reported missing on November 13th, as she was leaving a class. She is someone’s daughter, someone’s friend and whatever color she is, she deserves to be given the same attention you would give anyone else. We, each one of us…together make up today’s media….we have the power to build a company or break down a company via our social networking, therefore I think that with the power that comes with networking we have a responsibility of caring about our fellow human being.Take this moment to share this article are write your own article to help find Latasha.
