Religion, GOD, faith & the work at home mom
Wednesday, October 31st, 2007Religion doesn’t make you stupid!
What role does religion, GOD and faith play in the choices of the work at home mom in today’s society? One might wonder if a person’s religion or faith has any importance in the choices a mom makes when looking to start a business opportunity or work at home job. How does a person of God relate effectively to those in the field of hiring work at home workers, that have no clue about religion or the right and wrong of things.
Let’s be honest here! Religion in, and of itself can do nothing to effect a person to the degree that they would stop and think about their choices. However, a person that is truly walking in God’s word would indeed be affected and may even approach people and situation differently.
Today, more then ever women that have chosen to stay at home to care for there kids, are looking for opportunities to work at home and earn a living. Religious women, of many denominations (Christians, Muslims, Buddhist) have found wonderful opportunities that have allowed them to earn an extra income, however there are also just as many work at home moms that have been scammed by fraudulent work at home opportunities, and called it “God’s will“.
Too many times work at home mom’s have been scammed and too many times I have heard “It must be God’s will”, or “If I just have faith”. God did not take your brain when you were saved. What ever happened to devine guidance or just plain common sense.
Your walk with god should make you stronger, and more in touch with his will. Religion isn’t suppose to stop you from thinking…it should make you think better. Stop using God as a cop out. If someone cheats you out of something…It is God’s will that you ASK FOR A REFUND!!!
