Make more Money at Home
Making money is something that we all choose to do, but very few of us actually take the time to research the various opportunities that will allow us to make more money. Most of the time we have the distorted view of; if we work longer hours we will make more money, if we work harder we may get a raise, if we get promoted we will received a better hourly rate. However, if you think about those options, you will soon find out that making more money via earned income, causes us to work longer hours, spend less time with our family, and take on more stress then is necessary.
Make Money outside the earn income arena
There are many other options, that allow us to make more money, while not taking away from the time we need to spend with family. Consider how many hours you spend watching television after getting home from work each day. If you where guaranteed an extra income, just for devoting your television hours to researching and working on alternate option to allow you to earn an extra income, then would you consider it? If you were guaranteed an income, just for taking the time to listen to those that have come before you, and are earning an income outside of, and earned income, then would you listen?
Opportunities to Make More Money
Some of the opportunities that I have come across online that allow you to make money and earn an extra income in your spare time have been researched and the results are below.

Keyword Content is King

Keyword Content is King
The internet is demanding more from it’s webmasters, and google is also demanding much more valuable information and results for it’s search engine users. As the internet grows and the amount of information continues to consume the world wide web, most visitor conscious search engines are beginning to be more consumed with the information they provide to there users.
Have you ever wondered, when conducting a search….where these result come from and just how trustworthy they are???? I am sure most of us have thought about it for a moment, but have never really put any true amount of time into the process of understanding how these results come about. Most of us in the internet business world have heard the term “content is king” over and over again. But, what exactly does it mean???
Content is King
Consider for a moment that the content placed on a website actually determine the websites value. Consider for a moment that it was up to a computer to determine via some mathematical equation the determining factor of the value of the content on a site.
In simplicity, lets ask a child to determine what part of this sentence would give them the most information about the sentence. “ The cat is brown and fat.” Let’s now remove each word and see which of the words would give us more of a key about what this sentence could actually be about. After asking at least 20 kids, most of the kids chose the word “cat” as the key word. Hint: keyword
Keyword Content is King
The keyword in a sentence is the valuable content that the search engine (spiders, computers) are looking for. Your job as a webmaster of a successful website is to find your keyword, and write content that will be valuable to your visitors. In the process you must remember that those (spiders, computers) are looking for your keyword, in order to determine it’s value.

History of Computers

History of the Computer
Computers have come a long way, since t1965 when The Honeywell Corporation introduced of the very first computers. This computer goes down in history as being called the “The Kitchen Computer”. The technical name for this computer was the H316 computer. It was sold at the then and now high cost of over $10,000.00
As history moves forward and about 5 years later, in 1970 we see a more elaborate type of computer system, know as the UNIX computer operating system. This system was created via the Bell Labs. Many years later, the UNIX computer system has become one of the dominate operating systems for very critical applications, and high end computers.
Later in 1972, the C programming language was created, again at the Bell Labs. The UNIX computer system is then later rewritten using the C programming language, and to this day the C programming language has become one of the most popular, well know languages in the computer industry.
With all this technical computer history being made, I suppose techies need a better means of storing this data. In 1973 the two-sided floppy disk was created. This 2 sided floppy disk could hold up to 400 kb of data. Shortly, followed by the Winchester eight inch four platter drive. This mass storage device could hold up to 70MB of data.
Sometime in 1977, the Apple II computer was released. This computer was a fully assembled computer, with built in keyboard. This computer was a plug in…to your television set and was sold mostly by Radio Shack.
From the history of 1978 to 1980, Intel began to release there microprocessors. Starting with there 8086 microprocessor, which was a 16 bit chip., then the 8088 microprocessor, each being upgraded for better and more efficient performance.
In 1980 IBM choose Bill Gates, to provide the operating system Microsoft, for its new PC. Later, the Bell Labs comes out with the Bellmack32 with a 32 bit microprocessor chip and a 32 bit data bus. In 1982 Intel, was back on the scene with there 80286, 16 bit microprocessor, which lead to the creation of the Sun Microsystem and the beginning of the workstation. A new program called AutoCAD was designed for the engineering industry providing 2-D and 3-D objects. Also, in this same year the development of the TCP/IP began and the work Internet started being used.
In the computer history of 1983 Time Magazine released a picture of a computer called “The Lisa”. This was a graphic type computer with a keyboard operating system and a mouse, priced at over $10,000. In the history of 1987 IBM releases it new PS/2 line of computers. This computer had a 20 Mhz processor , but was not standard to the widely used computer peripherals.
In the computer history of 1992 Microsoft begins shipping there 3.1 Microsoft windows operating system. By now, there are over 25 million users on the internet, and IBM releases there ThinkPad Laptop computer.
In the computer history of 1999, Intel on the scene again, releases there Pentium III Processor, with over 9.5 million transistors.
Remember, the Millennium Bug, January 1, 2000 and most computer users hurried around trying to protect there computers and making sure they were Y2D compliant. In the computer history of 2002, the wireless network boom emphasized handheld computers, wireless cell phones and wireless internet connections.
What will new things will the next 10 year bring?????

Optimize your Website Title
August 13th, 2008 Filed Under "How to", Website Stuff
Optimizing your Website Title
After you have determined what your keywords are, or what keyword phrase you choose to use, it is now time to optimize your webpage.
The number one thing to do, is to optimize your page by selecting a page title that will include your main keyword or keyword phrase….using as few unnecessary words that are not keywords as possible. For example if your key word is Acne Treatment Stories, you would want to title your page Acne Treatment Stories, instead of All about Acne Treatment Stories. The Less words you use… the more value used for your actual keyword or key phrase.
Never title your page: Welcome to my website , or something generic. This is a waste of space and could be used to incorporate your keywords. Remember, the googlebot is looking for you and will not be able to find you if you have generic words in your title page. How many people do you actually think will key “Welcome to my website” in the search engine??? Not, very many!!!! So, never use anything in your title page that will not show up in the search engines.
You could even combine your titles, omitting any repeated non keywords. For example: Acne Treatment Stories/Acne Treatment Pictures. Adding the keyword pictures gives you an additional keyword in your title without adding any unnecessary words.

Choosing a Good Keyword
August 12th, 2008 Filed Under Website Stuff
Keywords vs Keyword Phrases
I never could have imagined how important it was to use the correct keywords, when creating a website.
A friend of mine once said to me….When you visit a grocery store, you are usually looking for something specific, that you prefer. That specific thing is your keyword…..Or say you visit a clothing store and your preferred dress style is casual. Usually, you will not even see any other type of clothing styles because you are only searching for your preference. So, keywording is exactly the same thing. Just as a store carries certain targeted items, your website should display keywords related to your service or product.
Choosing a Good Keyword
When choosing a good keyword, you have to take into account several factors. First and foremost is to do a keyword search on the basis keyword that describes your product or service. For example say that your product is an acne cleansing treatment. So, you may decide that your keyword is “Acne Treatment”. Using one of the many keyword tools, such as keyword tracker, good keywords and more, you will notice that if you key in the words “Acne Treatment” that you will return a very long list of related keywords, multiply it by about 8 and you will be able to estimate the number of times that this keyword has been search in google search engine for the month. Considering that you will no doubted come back with well over a million searches per month, you will want to then optimize using a less competitive keyword. Checking out some of the related terms, you may want to focus on using keyword phrase instead of a basic keyword with million of possible searches and highly competitive in the search engines.
Let’s consider the keyword phrase, “Acne Treatment Stories”. Now, lets go to the search engine and key in “Acne Treatment Stories”. Currently, the top position is held by an article posted on propeller.com. Which is more or less a subpage with an article about acne. Now, considering that this is only a subpage…not a domain page, and it is ranked #1 for that keyword phrase, we now have the opportunity to create our homepage using the exact keyword phrase and end up #1 on the google search engine for that keyword.
